Artist Bio

Steady On performs music of faith written to encourage us all in our journey with God through the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Steady On is the band of Jeff Sylvester, born out of a passion to sing about the struggles and joys of living the Christian life. After taking several years away from writing and performing his original music, Jeff is recording a new CD and rebuilding the band.

Jeff is very passionate about his new project, to be released mid 2013, entitled "Through The Darkness". The album will contain songs telling the emotional story of the darkest time of his life- a time when he found himself betrayed, hurt, and angered by so many that he trusted- a time when the Lord stripped away religious pretense that stunted his growth- a time where he found a new empathy for the abused and broken who have been brushed aside- a time when he found himself running the race of faith as he never had before.

Now it is his passion to share a new crop of songs to encourage those who have gone through darkness, whatever that darkness is, to still find hope where hope will never fail: in the Cross of Christ.
