Artist Bio
This Extremely Talented, Powerful, Stunning and "Humble", 3 Time Music Award Winner, 19 year old Singer/Songwriter Cristina Quinones, has made her the front Runner to usher in a new generation of music that fans are hungry for in an artist with the star quality that made the late Selena Quintanilla & JLO so popular worldwide. Growing up in a multi-cultural family has proven to be instrumental in allowing her to musically express her roots in the Hispanic and American culture. With well over 800 performances under her belt in the past 7 years, including several televised performances, Cristina is a seasoned performer who knows how to put on a riveting show. Cristina definitely held her own amongst the list of Inductees and Grammy Award winning Music Artists as she performed at the 32nd Annual Georgia Music Hall of Fame Awards show and received the Bill Lowery "Horizon Award" on September 11th, 2010 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre (located in Atlanta.) This award and recognition is occasionally given to an "up and coming" performing artist, with significant ties to the State of Georgia, and who is expected to make a significant future contribution to world of music. The following year JUSTIN BIEBER also received the same exact award in 2011. Amongst the great and legendary Past Hall of Fame inductees and performers includes: Ray Charles, Trisha Yearwood, James Brown, R.E.M, Usher, B-52’s, Ludacris, to name just a few. In 2010, some of the inductees and performers include: India Arie, Styx, The Black Crowes, Jennifer Larmore and Paul Davis. Even with all her success, this is only the beginning for young Cristina Quinones. She is steadily gaining momentum, with slowing down … nowhere in sight. Making timeless music that children and adults can relate to and in rekindling Hispanics once again into the Limelight.
