StageIt is a virtual stage, created by performers for performers, and an online venue for fans. At StageIt we make it possible for performers to monetize their talents through LIVE, interactive and intimate content while offering their fans a front row seat to a backstage experience!

We provide support for a large variety of industries including: film and television, food and beverage, performing arts, comedy, fitness, wellness, spiritual, community outreach and education, with our main focus on live music.

Current openings:

Product/UX Designer

Reports to: SVP of Engineering

Position Type: FTE

Location: San Francisco, CA (remote)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Join the StageIt team as a product designer! On most days you will find yourself working on user-facing product features and on other days, internal-facing tools will be the focus. You will be the one to guide our overall design language, and have the opportunity to be intimately involved from ideation to implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Rapidly prototype, ideate, and present your recommendations
  • Work through complex ideas and workflows, and simplify them without compromising usability
  • Create user experience and interaction designs that are functional as well as easy to use and understand
  • Create visual designs that are clean and beautiful (without being overly fixated on pretty pixels)
  • Collaborate with product development, software engineering, production operations, and business functions

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience

  • Has 2+ years of work experience designing UX/UI

Skills and Knowledge

  • You like to and can code your own designs (you may not be asked to do so, but we like designers that know their CSS, HTML, and even some JavaScript)
  • Is capable of staying aware of the needs of the user, the company, and of engineering (as well as the constraints)
  • Excellent communicator, comfortable voicing and presenting your ideas
  • Motivated self-starter, able to work independently or closely with a distributed team across different time zones

Business Development Manager

Reports to: VP of Business Development

Position Type: FTE

Location: San Francisco, CA (remote)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our team is looking for a Business Development Manager. This individual will be responsible for helping to secure revenue-based partnerships across multiple verticals. These categories include promoters, venues, festivals, brands, etc. The right candidate will have experience in the music and events industries and possess a deep understanding of the market while staying current on the evolving regulations within targeted geographies. Experience with venue operators is a must.

This is a self-starter role for an industrious individual. Your largest priority will be to identify opportunities and promote growth to ensure that StageIt maintains the highest level of operational and financial success for its partners and users.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, secure, and manage business + partnership opportunities
  • Own the entire partnership process, from prospecting, negotiation, to contract execution
  • Oversee account management for clients
  • Adhere to and refine operational processes to ensure quality assurance
  • Maintain and update all leads, contacts and opportunities in CRM
  • Partner with cross functional teams to translate feature requests/needs into product requirements
  • Support and drive strategy for existing and new initiatives and products
  • Become an expert in live streaming process
  • Understand the entire landscape of competition and how we can strategically position ourselves
  • Research and create reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Team with Artist Relations, Marketing, Product, Development and Executive teams to ensure success

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience

  • BS/BA degree required
  • MBA degree is a plus
  • 5+ years of increasing responsibility in sales/business development
  • Experience in Music Industry is a must
  • Experience in digital media and live streaming technologies

Skills and Knowledge

  • Ability to influence and manage teams
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and present highly professional, effective presentations and reports for both business and technical audiences
  • Knowledge of digital media (audio/video, live streaming)
  • Ability to work under a flexible schedule with shifting priorities- including weekends and sometimes odd hours across different time zones
  • The ability to think creatively
