Its been about 16 years since my father bought me my first guitar at the age of 12. Every day after that, I came home from school, went directly into my room, shut the door and learned every kind of music I could get my hands on...Metallica, Megadeth, Silverchair, Alice in Chains, Dream Theater, Eric Clapton and the sort. Over the years, I've been in many bands. One of my first serious projects was ELEMENT--a metal band start ed by a group of high school friends and myself. This band would be where I 'sharpened my chops. I bought an Ibanez S-series seven string and D'addario strings. After a long and fun road, ELEMENT came to an end and the vocalist, Bill Moros, and I formed Alternative Rock/Metal band A Farewell Fire. A Farewell Fire brought a lot to the table: tons of heart, drive and individually talented musicians, plus the ability to take my writing skills and my passion for playing professional music to the next level. Still using that same Ibanez seven stringguitars w/ D'addario strings, AFF pumped out two full-length albums that ripped a hole through your ear drums. AFF signed with Indegoot management in 2008 and has shared the stage with many national acts, such as Bret Michaels, Saliva, Misfits, Nonpoint, Puddle of Mudd, Powerman 5000, and 36 Crazyfists to name a few. However, all good things must come to an end. After five short but awesome years, AFF's time ha come. Soon after, an opportunity came with a phone call from Indegoot that Toryn Green of Fuel was looking for a new project and For the Taking was born! After playing shows in Alaska, Maryland, Indianapolis, NYC ect...FTT has made a name for themself as a strong radio rock band with a sound to match. The music video and single "Lie To Me" are in heavy rotaion across the U.S. as we speak. I IGNITE is my most recent endevour! I IGNITE is an in your face expolosion of melody and heart firing straight from deep inside my imagination. Ive written, recorded, and produced the bands songs and perform them just about twice a month here on the long island east coast. Big moves are on the horizon for this 5 piece Alt/Pop-Punk/Rock band so keep your eyes and ears open... Thanks for checking out my page and i hope to see you real soon!
