Ms Desire, who is the reigning UK Groovy Soca Monarch, has a strong fan base and is strongly connected to the Caribbean Diaspora with an emphasis on the Barbadian contingent due to her strong ties to her mother's homeland. Ms Desire was short-listed for the highly anticipated MTV Brand New for 2013 Competition and shortly after her music was chosen to be a part of the in-flight entertainment of all the British Airways flights for the next year.
Not only is Ms Desire an exceptional performer, but she is also a fantastic Songwriter having being invited to Atlanta by the world renowned A&R Kevin Shine who worked alongside R-Kelly on his Grammy nominated album; for a writing session in association with Universal Records.
Ms Desire currently presents the monthly television show Desire’s World on Sky Channel 182, which promotes Soca music and Caribbean Entertainment News within the UK to hundreds of thousands of viewers.
Being praised and supported by the BBC Introducing team, Ms Desire is already branded as the "Soca Songstress" and intends to take the Soca music industry to another level. With a motto, 'desire and aspire' she asks, "Why have the sky as the limit, when you could leave footprints on the moon?"
With her distinctive sound and attention-capturing style, Ms Desire will leave Soca music in the hearts of people worldwide as she takes Soca global.
