Artist Bio

I am a Cameroonian-born poet, essayist, and librarian based in California. I write poems for Cameroon and Africa and for the African Diaspora. I also write poems about libraries and workplace trauma. Poetry is my passion. I was shortlisted for the Brunel University African Poetry Prize in 2013 and 2014. I completed my first chapbook of poems in 2014 and it was published in 2015. I am currently working on a full-length book of poems and essays. My poems have been published in the USA and in Europe (UK, France and Germany). Thank you for your support!
