Wayne Levert is a national recording r&b soul artist from Atlanta Georgia. Born and raised in the metropolitan area of the city Wayne was a standout football player who dreamed of coaching in the future. He also had another love, music. Due to his musical background he fell in love with old school R&B. Legendary artist such as the stylistics, the Dells, the Delfonics, the Manhattans and of course The O'Jays inspired Wayne to make music in his own way with a classic spin. Wayne has been studying the business aspect of the music industry for 9 years and counting. When asked about his determination to learn the music industry Wayne states, "we are all students unless we are deceased or dumb". In 2014 Wayne began recording in hopes of reviving R&B music following icons such as Maxwell, R. Kelly, Joe and of course Gerald Levert. Wayne has dealings with r&b acts Silk, 112, Jagged Edge, Chase Rose former member of Brian Coxs' r&b group Dirty Rose. He has released two singles up to date, "Put it on you" and "Tired" found in digital stores everywhere. Wayne has plans to release an album and 2 ep projects in 2015.
