Ken Weiner is an aficionado of traditional and straight-ahead jazz. He grew up playing tenor saxophone in the suburbs of Los Angeles. He studied engineering and jazz at UCLA where he won the Cannonball Adderly Memorial Scholarship.

His rich sound can be heard on recordings by David Tobocman and the swing band Speak Easy Spies. Ken plays frequently around Los Angeles with his own jazz group and as a member of the Del Rey Jazz Band, Roberto Cordero Quintet, LA Love Band, and Geoff Mann Group.
