Liz Berlin has created a name for herself within the entertainment industry as a founding member of the
Island/Def Jam multi-platinum recording group, Rusted Root. Throughout the band’s twenty year history, Liz has performed across the country, sharing the stage with bands such as The Allman Brothers, Jewel, Sting and The Grateful Dead.
As a solo artist, Liz has released two albums and performed regularly with her own band, while still touring with Rusted Root. Liz also has a new band, Drowning Clowns, with her husband Mike Speranzo.
Liz & her husband Mike have developed a small empire over the last 10 years with Mr. Smalls Theatre, Recording Studio & Skatepark in Pittsburgh, PA. Also, Liz’s appreciation for the drive and know-how required to sustain a career as a professional musician led to the creation of Creative.Life.Support. Serving in a supervisory capacity for all CLS operations, she coordinates all programs and manages the CLS internship program.
