Jean Pageau, the songwriter, composer and performer was born in Hull, Québec, Canada. At an
early age after 8 years of piano lessons,
he started playing musical arrangements inspired by Jazz, Progressive rock and
New Age textures. The fine art of composing was achieved through his experience as a progressive-jazz musician. The quality of his compositions harmonizes wonderfully and powerfully with images and animation. Among the fruits of his labour to date we find compositions of musical theme scores for television productions as well as scores for various multimedia productions. Some of his most acclaimed works include the release of 3 albums and the theme Song for the Canadian Special Olympics 2000 Winter Games. He appeared live at the Ottawa Civic Center as he performed the theme song at the opening and closing ceremonies at the Canadian Special Olympics 2000 Winter Games. Jean also wrote an original score for "The IMAX Experience" video, distributed worldwide,
and multimedia pre-shows for Canadian IMAX Theatres. His music has also played in several IMAX Theatres across North America. Also in 2001 he composed 25 songs for a Broadway play entitled"Le Fou du Roi". This project contributed largely in the improvement of his voice and his sound editing techniques. Jean has been involved in music for many years, recording new age music and also singing in a few tribute bands. He joined Mystery the spring of 2014 just in time for the band to go on a European tour in the fall of the same year. Jean made his studio debut with MYSTERY on the album Delusion Rain
