From "Country" love songs to "feel-good" songs, Tammy has a way of saying alot with few words. When combining her love for God, Family, and Country, keeping it "positive," is her approach when putting a pen to paper.
Currently, Tammy can be seen performing in the George Strait Tribute Show, Starring James Garrett, at the IMAX Little Opry Theatre, Branson, MO., and the Branson Center Stage Grille and Bar on HWY 76.
In Fall, 2012, Tammy released her first solo album, titled, "Two-Minute Town," recorded in Nashville at FunHouse Studios, with producer Ernie Rowell. All the songs on this new album were penned by Tammy. Most recently, in 2013, her love and pursuit for songwriting, landed her back in Nashville, co-writing with seasoned writer/artist Steve Cudworth, (former co-writer with Rich Mullins).
Tammy is not new to recording, having sung in the duo, "Two Hearts-N-Him," with Deanna Duggar. Their first single, "Do You Think?" charted at number six on "God's Country." This song was written by Tammy when her mother died. Their next single, "Hold Up Your Candle," peaked at number one in 2006.
Tammy has appeared on cable network’s TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network), the world’s largest religious network, as well as Jimmy Snow’s Gospel TV Show. She has performed for the Wal-Mart Aviation Dept, Rogers, AR, Opened for Steve Azar, National Cancer Society Benefit, James Garrett's Johnny Cash/John Denver Tribute Show, Branson, MO. Nashville and Pigeon Forge Cowboy Churches, LWML(Lutheran Women's Missionary League) conventions and retreats, Agape Music Festival in TX, Cherokee Casino, Oklahoma Rodeo Opry, McSwain Theater, Ada,OK, Oklahoma State and Hinton County Fairs and KSBI-TV, OK. She has also been a guest on KNGR Radio, Women of Faith Series: “Dealing With the Death of a Loved One.” Her love for sharing music, combined with compassion for the elderly, also keeps Tammy singing at local nursing homes and assisted-living facilities.
Alongside writing and recording music, Tammy and her children also published "My Cinderella Grandma", a children’s book written by Tammy’s daughter, Holly, and co-authored with Tammy and her son, Gavin. It is a story about Tammy’s mother dying of melanoma cancer and dealing with grief over losing a loved one. The “Do You Think?” single recording is included in the book package. This family is sharing their faith in Jesus Christ, giving hope to those who have lost someone they love. You will truly be touched by this inspirational story, as God speaks through the innocence of a child.
Performing her original music, and/or sharing her book and song, Tammy makes appearances at music festivals, state and county fairs, opry's, women's conventions and retreats, cancer benefits and churches, cowboy churches, etc.
