Hailing from the University of Colorado, Denver, MIX (formerly UCD 6) is an award-winning group made up of students majoring in Recording Arts, Music Business and Vocal Peformance. This group has competed and placed in a variety of collegiate competitions such as the Rocky Mountain Harmony Sweepstakes, the International Championships of Collegiate A Cappella, SoJam, Boston Sings, and Mile High Vocal Jam. MIX has also performed in many local venues such as Dazzle Jazz, Lannie’s Clocktower Cabaret and Jazz at Jacks, and has made numerous appearances on FOX 31 Denver and 9News. In February, the group released their EP, Breaking Ground (Reissued) — a re-release of their first recording previously released under their former name.
